My studio is unique from most others in this region for several reasons. Here are a few of my favorites.
I emphasize the importance of students not only being able to play the piano but also understanding the theory behind it and cultivating their ability to read music.
I encourage students to develop life-long skills through our lessons.
I challenge my students to reach their potential, as long as they have the desire to push through.
My classes are student-focused, meaning I make sure to understand every student's goals and purposes and accommodate my teaching to individual needs.
Students in my studio have the opportunity to study a wide variety of musical styles, not limited to Classical music. I teach all sorts of genres, but with my Classical music background, I can teach the complex framework of Classical music.
Students are encouraged to be involved in various programs and educational challenges throughout the year. They also have multiple performance opportunities throughout the year.
We are constantly thinking of ways to innovate our classes, from fun activities in our private lessons to group classes where students can learn about music beyond the constraints of our private lessons.
Student progress is not taken lightly at the studio. I make sure that every parent has a good understanding of where their child is in their learning and ensure parents are involved in the learning process.
And most importantly, we implement lots of FUN into our classes!
We have a brand-new Yamaha grand piano equipped in the studio

Students have the opportunity to perform in a recital at least once a year
